Job Description: Data Analyst Intern
Rapido is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to work closely with product and business teams on daily problem statements. This role involves identifying issues through metric diagnostics, designing and analyzing experiments, and deriving data-driven conclusions that impact users’ everyday lives. The intern will be part of a growing team focused on driving business value by identifying growth opportunities, optimizing spending, and enhancing customer and captain experiences. Collaborating with teams across the organization, the intern will contribute to insightful analyses that align with Rapido’s strategic goals and deliver meaningful results.
Responsibilities
- Acquiring data from primary data sources like mongo/presto-sql/Rest APIs
- Build dashboards/ reports to provide visibility into key business/ product metrics
- Perform deep dive analysis to understand problems in detail & support data backed decision making
- Delivering insights that fuels growth, helps us optimize spends & improve customer/ captain experience
- Stakeholder management and cross functional engagement
- Manage the datasets/ tables consumed in analysis/ dashboards reports
Requirements
- Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative field.
- Excellent SQL skills and experienced with at least one scripting language preferably Python.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts (like Inferential statistics / significance tests etc.).
- New methodologies and approaches to data collection, data cleaning, and data analysis process.
- Ability to execute on decisions while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to use a combination of analytics, data visualization, and machine learning to identify gaps in current solutions as well as prototype new MVP to address those gaps.
