Roles and Responsibilities
- The Intern – Power Electronics and Drives design/study the system engineering under the mentorship of technical expert in this field.
- The individual will work on a function depending on their prior coursework and degree. In this role you are responsible for work which is defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term business goals.
- Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within GE safety standards. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the organization’s EHS and associated policies & procedures
- Drive control and Validation, testing concepts
- Strong technical aptitude, Solid oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills - Provide documentation support in the assigned project
- Develop and execute subsystem validation test plans in assigned domain through literature survey
- Work closely with mentors to provide technical clarification in current project, equipment under test or in-service platforms
Required Qualifications
- Exposure to the Manufacturing process and quality standards
- Flexible to work with cross-functional teams and global assignments.
- Self-starter, Initiator & Solution finder for critical problems with high motivation
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Fluent in English
Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, and execute Commissioning activities with Safety as no one Priority.
