The Government of Gujarat has established the Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management as an Autonomous University. Research Associate/Junior Research Fellow at IITRAM, Ahmedabad

Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management offers Bachelor’s and Master’s of Technology programs in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The Institute also offers Ph.D. studies in various fields, such as basic sciences, engineering, humanities, and social sciences. The medium of instruction is English, and the examination is also conducted in English.

Job Description

Perform the research activity in line with the requirements of the COE stated in the subject line. As per the institute norms, the candidate should perform academic duty up to 8 hrs per week.

Qualifications

  • M.E./M. Tech in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/CSE/IT or other relevant discipline or equivalent qualification with 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0-point scale) OR
  • M.Sc. in Aerospace or related discipline with 75% marks or 7.5 CPI (on a 10.0-point scale).

Desired Skill Sets

  • Understanding basic components and algorithms used in the design of
  • UAVs (rotary, fixed wing, hybrid)
  • Basic idea of calibration, testing and deployment of UAVs.
  • Work/Project experience of working on microcontrollers (Arduino or Raspberry-pi development boards)
  • Experience working on software such as MATLAB, Python, etc

General Conditions

  1. Upper Age Limit: 28 years as of the closing date of receipt of application. The upper age limit shall
    be relaxed to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and OBC as per the
    Government of Gujarat norms.
  2. The initial appointment will be for 11 months but extendable up to three years (11 months at a time)
    after satisfactory performance evaluation at the end of each tenure.
