About NIT Delhi
The National Institute of Technology Delhi (NITD) is one of the thirty-one NITs established in 2010 by an act of parliament and has been declared an Institute of National importance.
NIT Delhi is an autonomous Institute that functions under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It aims to provide instructions and research facilities in various disciplines of Engineering, Science and Technology, Management, Social Sciences and Humanities for advanced learning and dissemination of knowledge.
Project Title
A Novel power-on pilot IC for ultra-low power wireless IoT devices.
Qualifications
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology in the fields of VLSI Design/ Microelectronics/Embedded Design/ECE or other relevant discipline, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or) CGPA of 6.5/10 in UG or PG for JRF under GEN/EWS/OBC category and 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA of 6.0 for SC/ST candidates.
Desired Skill Sets
Knowledge in Verilog HDL, Cadence Tool, Siemens EDA Tools (Mentor graphics), Synopsys TCADetc.
Nature of Appointment
It will be governed by the administrative rules and conditions of Research & Consultancy NIT Delhi / Institute norms.
Duration
- 03 Years
- The initial appointment is for one (01) year, which can be extended up to the completion of the project, purely based on satisfactory performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.
Age Limit
- Not exceeding 30 years (for JRF) as of the closing date of the application.
- Age relaxation as per GoI norms.

Salary
Rs. 37,000/- (for the first 2 years) and Rs. 42,000/- pm (for the 3rd year) plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per the norms of GoI.
