Applications are invited for the USF STEM Fellowship 2025-27 in Maharashtra. The application deadline is February 15, 2025.
About the Fellowship
STEM Education encompasses Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, integrated through project-based learning. This interdisciplinary approach focuses on addressing real-world challenges, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in students.
The Universe Simplified Foundation (USF) establishes affordable, portable STEM Innovation Hubs in under-resourced government schools located in rural areas on the outskirts of Mumbai. Their goal is to provide every student with equal access to inquiry-driven STEM education, on par with top-tier schools, which represent less than 0.1% of all schools in India.
The USF STEM Fellowship is an immersive, full-time, two-year program where fellows work as STEM educators in rural village schools. Fellows receive training in technical skills while also gaining insights into how students learn through project- and problem-based learning approaches.
