Commonwealth Distance Learning Master’s Scholarship 2024

The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) provides the UK government scholarship scheme led by international development objectives. It operates within the framework of the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) and offers a vivid demonstration of the UK’s enduring commitment to the Commonwealth.

  • Eligibility: To be considered for these scholarships, applicants must:
    • Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person.
    • Be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country.
    • Hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard. A lower qualification and sufficient relevant experience may be considered in certain cases.
    • Be unable to afford to study the programme without this scholarship.
  • Application: Applications to the CSC must be made using the CSC’s online application system.
  • Deadline: The deadline for submitting an application is 16:00 GMT on Thursday 28 March 2024. The scholarships are for study beginning in September/October 2024.
  • Financial Assistance: A Commonwealth Distance Learning Master’s Scholarship covers tuition fees and study grants where required. Other scholarships, awards, or bursaries that cover the same costs may not be held concurrently.

This scholarship is meant for international students from one of the selected countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands.

  • Eligibility:
    • You are an excellent student with a GPA of 80% or higher
    • You are citizen of Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States of America or Vietnam.
    • You have (un-)conditional admission to one of our on campus MSc programmes.
    • You did not participate in a degree programme in the Netherlands before.
  • Granting: If you are selected as a beneficiary of the NL Scholarship you will receive a one-time payment of € 5000 in the first year of your studies. The selection committee has the option to grant a double scholarship of € 10000 or a triple scholarship of € 15000.
  • Deadline: Candidates who have received an invitation to apply for the NL Scholarship have to complete their application before May 1, 2024. From this date on it is no longer possible to apply.

This scholarship is meant for international students from one of the selected countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands.

  • Eligibility: The NL Scholarship is available for students of the UT who want to study, do research or do an internship outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
    There is a limited number of NL Scholarships available. Each faculty can allocate a small amount of grants. There are no more scholarships available for academic year 2023-2024.
  • Amount: The contribution towards your study/internship expenses is a total amount of INR 2,25,285.00/€ 2,500, paid in full before departure.
