About the Award of Engineers Scholarship
Engineers India is a premier design and Engineering Consultancy Organization with capability in design and implementation of mega projects in varied areas such as oil refineries, petrochemicals, chemicals, oi! and gas processing, fertilizers, power plants, non-ferrous metallurgical plants, offshore platforms, crass country pipelines, etc., with headquarters at New Delhi and a network of project sites and Offices in various: parts of India and abroad.
Engineers India Limited (EIL) Scholarship is given to deserving SC & ST students pursuing full time Undergraduate Engineering programme in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Industrial, Chemical and Instrumentation disciplines.
The scheme provides scholarship of Rs. 3000/-p.m. (Rupees Three thousand only) during the first, second, third & fourth year of study, for the above course, subject to the conditions laid down in the enclosed scheme for award of Engineers India Limited (EIL) scholarships for SC &ST undergraduate engineering students.
Selection Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria in order to apply for the programme:
- Mark-sheets 10th & 12″ /Diploma in Engg.
- SC/ST Caste Certificate.
- Income certificate issued by authorities given at Annex-1
- Filled in Electronic Bank Mandate Form
- The candidature of applicants with invalid caste/income certificate and incomplete application shall be rejected summarily
- Students joined B.E./B.Sc.(Engg.)/B.Tech. in 2024 are only eligible to apply.
Application Process
- The objective of this scheme is to award Engineers India Limited (EIL) scholarships to meritorious and deserving SC & ST students pursuing full-time undergraduate engineering course at the Institutes/Colleges which are duly recognized by AICTE and/ or from University/Deemed University duly recognized by UGC.
- Value of each EIL scholarship will be Rs.3000/- per month. The duration of EIL Scholarship shall be for the period of the course. The scholarship shall be payable for afl the 12 months in a year, commencing from the 1* year of the study based on the marks scored in Class XII/Diploma in Engineering. The schnmne shall be continued during the 2™, 3 and 4 years of study.
- Gross Annual income from all sources of the parents/guardian of the selected candidate shall not exceed Rs. 3,00,000/-.
- A candidate in receipt of any other financial aid/ stipend from any other source whatsoever shall not be eligible for the EIL Scholarship.
- Award of scholarship for 2° year onwards shail be strictly subject to continuous satisfactory performance and good conduct
