About the FutureAI Scholarship 2025

The FutureAI Scholarship is an exclusive scholarship opportunity designed to support postgraduate students in developing a deep understanding of the ethical and practical principles of artificial intelligence (AI).

This scholarship is in collaboration with the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) and UniQuest, our respected international enquiry services partner.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with UniQuest, our enquiry partner, and gain insights into how AI is shaping their service.

Eligible applicants mustThis scholarship is open to international postgraduate applicants only.

Applicants must be pursuing postgraduate studies at UWE Bristol; all courses are open to applicants with an interest in AI and how they think it will shape their future career aspirations.

Applicants must be able to give 10 hours per month to collaborate with UWE Bristol’s Future Students, Marketing and Communications Team.

  • You will be invited to apply for the scholarship when you receive an offer decision.
  • Submit the application before the deadline of Monday 30 June 2025.
  • The final selection will be based on academic merit, demonstrated interest in AI, and alignment with your course focus.

Project Overview

  • You will be tasked with examining the principles outlined on the UWE Bristol AI principles page. The project aims to enhance your understanding of the ethical considerations, societal impacts, and technical aspects of AI. How AI could positively shape the career you are embarking on.
  • You will have the opportunity to engage with UniQuest’s marketing and technical leads to explore how AI is currently influencing their services and gain insights into the future of AI in industry.
  • On completion of the project, you will present your findings, conclusion and future thoughts to a small panel of UWE Bristol and UniQuest staff.
  • We hope this opportunity will give you new skills, valuable knowledge and practical experience, allowing you to reference this project on your CV and demonstrate your commitment to ethical AI principles in your future career.
