About Vidyasaarathi

Vidyasaarathi is a technology-enabled initiative by Protean eGov Technologies Limited (formerly NSDL e-Governance infrastructure limited). Vidyasaarathi enables underprivileged students to receive financial assistance via corporate-funded scholarships. It aims to bridge the gap in education finance in the country through an online platform. Students can search and apply to various education finance schemes they are qualified for. Fund providers, industries, and corporates can promote skill development by designing education finance schemes provided on merit by fund providers, industries, and corporates.

Ever since its inception, Vidyasaarathi has received tremendous response from the student community. More than 10 lakh students have registered on the Vidyasaarathi portal and many leading names from the Indian corporate sector have disbursed scholarships through the platform (as on January 2022).

About the Schindler Igniting Minds (SIM) Renewal Scholarship

Schindler India one of the leading manufacturers of escalators, moving walkways and elevators worldwide. Through its flagship program SIM it aims at supporting meritorious and needy students to pursue their education and thus empower them with a sustainable career in future.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification Criteria: Minimum 70% in Class 10, Minimum 70% in Class 12, Minimum 60% in Diploma. 
  • Course Level: Undergraduate.
  • Course Names: B.E./B.Tech. (BE/BTech), B.C.E. or Bachelor of Civil Engineering (BCE), or B.Ch.E., i.e., Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (BChE).
  • Gender: All.
  • This scheme is available to only student whose family income is less than Rs. 5,00,000.

Deadline to Apply

November 25, 2023.

Scholarship Amount

A maximum of Rs. 50,000.

List of Documents Required for Application

  • Current year fees receipts.
  • Bonafide certificate from the institute.
  • Latest college marksheets.
  • Income Certificate.
  • All documents uploaded shall be clear and must be in .jpeg .png file only.
  • Optional document: PAN No/Domicile certificate/Aadhar Card.
