About BIPF
Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF) was established in 2011 as the social development arm of Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA). BIPF believes that transforming individual lives, amongst the most marginalized communities in Odisha, will have a cascading impact on the regional development of the state.
Scholarship Details
IMFA instituted this prestigious scholarship in the memory of renowned historian Late Prof Ghanashyam Dash. It is awarded by the Bansidhar & lla Panda Foundation to facilitate higher education in the field of Engineering, Medicine, STEM and Liberal Arts at any Govt College in the year of admission.
The scholarship covers 90% of eligible expenses on actuals subject to a maximum of 1.5 lakhs per annum (i.e. up to 6.0 lakhs per recipient for a 4 year course).
Eligibility Criteria
- Permanent domicile of Odisha.
- Qualified entrance examination of JEE/NEET/CUET/ Liberal Arts in the Year 2024.
- Got admitted in the field of Engineering, Medicine, STEM or Liberal Arts at any Government College in the respective academic year of admission.
- The combined annual income of the parents of the applicants must not exceed * 8,00,000/– (Rupees eight lakhs only) per annum.
Documents Required
- Mark sheet of 10th and 12th/+2 examinations.
- Rank card of qualifying entrance examination.
- NRIF of the Institute took admission.
- Admission documents from the College.
- The parents’ income certificate is from the Tahsildar / Competent Authority.
Scholarship Amount
The scholarship amount shall be disbursed after receiving the original bills for eligible expenses and semester results. The disbursement will be preferably done twice a year (by 15th August and by 15th January of the respective financial year) to the maximum annual limit of Rs. 1,50,000/- for each recipient.
