Applications are invited for SDEF Scholarship 2025 for UG students. Online applications are open on the official website.

About SDEF

Our scholarships will be provided to only students, who studied in government or aided schools in 10th grade. Children studying in private schools in 10th grade are not eligible for our scholarships. If you are studying at a school affiliated with state boards, please let us know in advance so that we can process your application separately.

Eligibility

• The scholarship is available for all undergraduate courses– engineering, medical, architecture, etc. and other undergraduate courses.
• Secured atleast 80% in CBSE Board or 70% or above Marks in Other Boards in 12th Class
• CGPA of at least 8.0 for Second year students
• Annual Family Income should be less than Rs 8 Lacs per annum
• Only first and second year students are allowed to apply for this program
• Only one year drop is allowed for technical courses
• Applicant studied from Govt or Govt aided schools
• All India Overall Rank should be less than 90,000 for Engineering & Architecture courses and 40,000 for medical courses
• Age limit – 19 years for first year students and 20 years for second year students

Required Documents

• Recent photograph.
• Government authorized ID card. (Adhaar Card / Pan Card / Driving License / Voter ID / etc)
• 10th and 12th Marksheets/Certificates.
• Academic Marksheets for all semesters/term-wise scores.
• Seat Allotment Letter.
• Copy of Fee Receipts.
• Copy of Education loan (If any)
• Family Income Proof- Salary Certificate/Salary Slip (For 3 Months)/IT Return Form/Pension Copy.
• Utility Bills (Electricity, Gas, Telephone, Water) of last six months.
• Bank Statement of last one year.
• Reference letter from two neighbors.
• Agricultural land documents/Pics of Shop/Self declaration as per proforma given in application form.
• House Pictures – Inside and Outside (4 photos) & Family Photograph.
• Academic excellence/Awards if any
• Any other relevant document as declared in the application form
• Video telling us about your academics
• Video with your parents – about your financial condition and earnings, housing etc.
• Video telling us about Swami Dayanand Saraswati
• Video on reciting full Vande Mataram of 6 stanzas

How to Apply?

This year the Application Process will be online. Interested students meeting the eligibility criteria can apply by clicking the “APPLY NOW” button below. The receiving of online applications will start mostly from 9th June 2025. Students can start preparing accordingly.

  • 1001-2000: INR 40k
  • 2001-3000: INR 30k
  • Above 3000: INR 20k
• All non technical courses (Only for girls) BA/BCom/BSc: INR 10k
• 300+Scholarships
• 50% Reservation for Girls
