About the Sustainability Scholarship 2025

UWE Bristol has demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainability, aiming to become carbon neutral by 2030 and embedding sustainable practices across its campuses, curriculum and community. We believe in the power of education to drive change and are proud to support students who share our passion for building a more sustainable future.

The UWE Bristol Sustainability Scholarship is a competitive award for high-achieving international postgraduate students who can demonstrate a strong interest in sustainability and show how their chosen course and career goals align with our values and environmental mission.

One recipient will receive a 50% tuition fee reduction for a full-time master’s degree beginning in September 2025.

How to apply?

• Application for this scholarship is by invitation only. Eligible applicants will be contacted directly with details on how to apply.
• As part of your application, you’ll be asked to submit a short-written statement (maximum 300 words) responding to a question related to sustainability and your future career aspirations.
• The deadline to submit your application is 30 June 2025.

Eligibility

• To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
• be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
• hold an offer to study a full-time postgraduate taught course at UWE Bristol, starting in September 2025
• not be in receipt of another UWE Bristol tuition fee discount or scholarship
• be invited to apply as part of the selection process.
