About Vahani Scholarship

The primary objective of this scholarship program is to provide opportunities to exceptionally talented underprivileged children in India, enabling them to pursue undergraduate degree courses at the country’s top universities.

Vahani Scholarship Benefits:

The scholarship covers full tuition fees for undergraduate degree programs, including accommodation.
Beneficiaries receive a stipend for a laptop and study materials, as well as a round-trip travel ticket.
Additional benefits include intensive counselling for personal skill development, application guidance, and leadership development.
After completing the course, beneficiaries gain access to internship opportunities, career counselling, mentorship by older students and working professionals, internal guidance, debates, workshops, English classes, computer classes, psychological counselling, and cultural adjustment training through exchange programs.

Scholarship Award

This scheme benefits 30 students.
Students have the flexibility to choose any full-type undergraduate course.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
Candidates should have successfully passed the 11th standard examination.
Applicants must have achieved a score of 85% or above in the 10th and 11th Board Examinations.
Aspiring scholars must have the desire to enrol in an undergraduate degree program at a top Government University or Government Recognized College.
The annual family income should not exceed 1.5 lakh per annum.
Students are required to maintain their academic performance in the 12th board examination and throughout their university studies to continue receiving the benefits.

Selection Process

Selection is based on academic excellence, consistency, the quality of the application, and financial need.
Selected candidates will be invited for an interview along with their guardians. The interview date will be communicated to the students, and travel expenses for attending the interview will be reimbursed.

Documents Required

Scanned copy of the applicant’s signature, family income certificate, and photograph for uploading.
Original 10th and 11th mark sheets and income certificates issued in the respective year for the interview.
Certificates mentioned in the application form by the applicant.
Two passport-sized photos.
